Some Sound Advice

For thirteen months here I have tried


To pen some entries for the Guide.


A few of them, the words they'd flow.


Others needed time to grow,


And get worked up into a lather;


Momentum they would have to gather.

Still I persevered with it.


I'd squeeze the subject, make it fit


The bite sized entries I could write,


And hope that they'd survive the might


Of Peer Review - and all that jazz


The toughest forum Hootoo has.

PR has quite a reputation.


With people there that scare the nation!


But when you enter you will see,


They are just folks - like you and me.


They'll help you get to grips with stuff


And make your entry much less rough.

So, what I'm really trying to say is;


Take advice from your friend Fizz.


Your talent's needed on the site,


The Sub-Eds'll help you get it right.


So pen the piece you have inside,


Then just sit back, enjoy the ride.
