NINTENDO NEEDS TO SURVIVE!

It has been a dire few years since the introduction of the 32 bit consoles. The established console leaders have been delt severe blows which threaten to eliminate them from our lives and replace their original ideas and gaming heritage with a digitised immitation of the pop music industry. For SEGA it may be too late. But the consumer can still fight back this money-greedy beast by the power of purchase.
Nintendo looks like it is falling down the slippery slope which Sega was thrown down by Sony and it can't happen. If the industry loses Nintendo it loses originality, individuality and the loveble excentricity which only their games provide to the dwindling masses who are still listening. So Nintendo consoles my have versions of the same games on all it's machines, but it is only the characters in these games which remain the same. Zelda on the N64 shares ideas of the NES original but places them in totally original situations leadinf to widely different games, both as brilliant as each other. Nintendo created the 3-D platformer with MARIO 64 and no company has yet come close to imitating this feat, whilst Nintendo are looking into how they can keep the next installment as fresh as new technology will allow.
The N64 has a minute amount of games compared to the Playstation, but the amount of decent games are a lot closer than many people think.
Quntity will never be an excuse for quality.
Who invented the Rumble Pack? Nintendo. All the decent games pad designs come from Nintendo. All the most interesting characters come from Nintendo (Compare Mario and Link to Spiro and Crash)but if Nintedo dies, we'll none of this innovation. If not for Nintendo, game pads would still have 2 or 3 buttons. Need I go on?
Nintendo makes mistakes. But with out this kind of innovation the industry would stagnate.
If you have enjoyed consoles and games, do you and your children a favour. DON'T LET NINTENDO DISSAPEAR!!!
