A Conversation for Neuss, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Well I never!

Thanks for that, Burn; I worked in Düsseldorf for three years and learned less about Neuss in all that time than I did from your article!

For me, Neuss was just a place to drive through to get to work - and in the early days, it was once or twice a place to drive around hopelessly lost trying to find a bridge - traffic around the harbour I remember as being particularly awful.

Is the Schützenfest the same weekend that the Kirmes comes to Oberkassel? I'm most surprised that the guys in my office never found out about a three-day drinking binge!

My Düsseldorf article is going through the approval process now - you may remember you gave me some feedback on it many months ago: thanks for that.

Cheers,

Gary
