GENESIS

In the beginning there was god,
which gave a nod.
Then came nature
with a vast nomenclature.

Folks arrived
and survived.
Then came culture, morals and lust
and societies built on the lack of trust.

Industry perfected the means of production
and equally efficient means of destruction.

Some found Joy,
others fear beyond compare,
in knowing that E=MC²

Pulsars are there where theory predicted.
Just what they are
is not cleary depicted.

Galaxies bust into cosmic dust
and the universe is expanding
beyond all understanding.

It leads one to conclude
- Good God Almighty!-
that the entire affair is somewhat untidy
