This has little relevance to with the article, except that 29 February has been affectionately named Doo Dah Day by the Thingite Legions.
Thingites are undertaking a mission to rename the days of the week, and 29th February, being such an idiosyncratic day in it's sometimes being there but mostly not, was deemed as good a day to be a Doo Dah day as any.
