A Conversation for Storing Eggs

One additional method

Perhaps the most obvious, if the least exciting, way of storing eggs is to crack them into ice cube trays and then freeze them. Then you have 'egg cubes' good for at least several months. If you've absolutely got to have your eggs hard boiled, however, then do something else.

Ah yes, a good method and one that should be added to the Entry on the next editorial pass. I've also heard suggestions that the eggs be beaten before freezing to help them freeze more easily. Of course then they are mostly good for recipes that involve beating the eggs anyhow.

Most of my references on the subject of egg storage predate the easy availability of home freezer units, which explains why they don't suggest this.
