PUB: Ron Black's Dawson Lounge, Dawson Street, Dublin
Created | Updated Jan 28, 2002
At just 30 square feet for the public (not including the loos) this is Dublins smallest pub. As you might expect, the atmosphere is very close - more like a friendly rush-hour tube 1 carriage than a pub.
The Guinness is a good pint, and not bad price for a city centre pub (IRĀ£2.45 at time of publishing) and the craic is good.
Astonishingly (given the pubs size) there is even live music on occaision - last time I was there we saw a 3 piece jazz band which left the rest of us with about 15 square feet between us.
The loos,as with most public loos in Dublin, are best avoided.
