I am painting a picture of me proposing to my fiance' and am going to present it as a surprise at our wedding reception. I would like to paint the words " To the Most Precious Lady in the World " arched acrossed the top. If somebody could translate this for me I would appreciate it.

Thanks in Advance.

Best I could come up with on my own is:
ut plurrimi precious era obvius universitas

Does this sound right to anybody else?

"To the Most Precious Lady in the World"

Depending on whether you translate "lady" with "mulier" or with "domina", it would be one of either

'Carissimae mundi mulieri.'

or

'Carissimae mundi dominae.'

'Mulier' basically means 'woman'. 'Domina' is closer to 'lady' in some of its senses. But when we say 'lady' in English we often just mean woman. You may decide which is best.

For the lowdown on DOMINA see:

Amanutius

My online grammar aid lists the locative as obsolete, and my textbook doesn't even mention it.

If I were translating I'd write "Plurimae dominae in mundo."

My dictionary lists domina as lady-lover, so it's especially apt.

Amanutius, there is much room for improvement in your Latin. And what has the locative to do with any of this?
