One girl in all the world, a Chosen one, born with the strength and skill to hunt vampires and other deadly creatures, to find them where they gather and to stop the spread of their evil. When one Slayer dies, the next is called and trained by the Watcher. A Watcher serves by finding the next Slayer, leading her on her path. It is the destiny of the Watcher to guide the Slayer.
The Slayers
How it all began, the very first Slayer. Since there have been vampire's, there have been Slayer's, the first Slayer was a raw, animalistic cave Slayer. Chained to the earth and empowered with the essence of the demon, this gave her the supper strength to fight the vampire's and demons of the time. It is unclear when this happened, how long she survived and if there was any kind of watcher involved at the time. Although on that last comment, I doubt it very much.

After the battle against The First, the destruction of the Watchers Council and Willow Rosenbergs spell to turn all Potentials into active Slayers, it is almost impossible to keep an acurate record of all past and present Slayers. The new Watchers Council, led by Rupert Giles, are asking all Watchers to inform the council on any imformation and updates they may have.
