A little while back they installed a new electric chair in Florida. The old one was removed when they executed someone and 6 ft flames leapt out of his head. They decided to test it on a 27 stone inmate, nick-named "TINY".
Would this be your first choice of test subject??
Also it is worth pointing out that not all countires execute people, least of all by putting 10,000V through their temples.

I just happen to think that there are better ways to go than to swap places with a piece of fuse wire.
At least a lethal injection is more humane.
If you really do decide that killing people is necessary perhaps they could choose how they wanted to "check out". I doubt many people would say "Oh, I'd like to be zapped please, but poke my eyes out with a red hot poker first, PLEASE"
