Just pondering on how the HHGTTG would have a small section asking you where you are going on holiday, and recommending which beers to try in the country of your destination.
eg
Tobago - Carib - very tasty when served cold on a hot day.
Viet Nam - Tiger - watch out for the excellent posters of babes wearing glass-of-beer outfits
China - Tsing tao - goes well with Peking duck in Beijing
..or something to that effect.
Perhaps it has been done, and someone knows the URL. Or there might be room on this website for such a repository.
Just a thought...

I really should check back here on a regular basis 
Excellant idea that one though. Mind you, when you get to countries with loads of beers it'd be a bit hard to choose the best of them.

If you are in Australia I recomend that you give the possum piss(fosters) and the green death (V.B.) a miss and try either James Squire wheat beer; Hahn (premiumn or lite) or XXXX a go
