I like this Entry, although I'm not altogether sure the dinosaurs pictured are dipolodocus AND stegosaurus.

However, I was browsing through the BBC sites for Walking with Dinosaurs and came across this http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/prehistoric_life/tv_radio/wwdinosaurs/

Now if you look to the BBC related links, there's quite a surprise. h2g2 is there, and supercedes wiki. Yay!

smiley - erm That picture looks like two Diplodoci (sp?) to me.
certainly if it's a Stegosaurus then it has the smallest back plates I've ever seen on one.

If you look closely, you can see that the one in the background also has back spikes.

Neither of them look like Stegosauri to me, but they don't really look like Diplodoci either. I think there is a sauropod with back spines, but I can't remember at this point.

I believe they may both be apatosaurs of some description.

I hope that's not a grassy plain they're walking on, also those trees look decidedly broad leafed...

Don't worry, it's shrubs.

Although that mountain does look a bit high...

Amargasaurus was a diplodocid with a sail down its back, similr to Ouranosaurus, Spinosaurus, and Dimetrodon. However, whereas Amargasaurus had a full-fledged, tall sail along its spines, the things in the picture have none.

Maybe they're some sort of undoscovered intermediate species?

Hmmm, I'd leave Dimetredon out of that list, it wasn't a dinoasaur, it came from an era before the dinosaurs, they were wiped out in the big mega-extinction of the Permian era/age/period (not sure what category it falls into).

Life had to reevolve out of the sea in between the Dimetredon's time and the Dinosaurs.

Yes, I know Dimetrodon wasn't a dinosaur. I just mentioned it because it had a similar back sail.
