History of the Slayer (part 1)

1 Conversation

Into every generation a Slayer is born. One girl in all the world, a Chosen One. One born with the strength and skill to fight the vampires, to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their numbers. As long as there have been demons, there has been the Slayer. One girl in all the world, a Chosen one, born with the strength and skill to hunt vampires and other deadly creatures, to find them where they gather and to stop the spread of their evil. When one Slayer dies, the next is called and trained by the Watcher. A Watcher serves by finding the next Slayer, leading her on her path. It is the destiny of the Watcher to guide the Slayer.
A MESSAGE FROM THE WATCHERS COUNCIL

Despite their many resources, the watchers council have; on occasion, been known to loose the odd slayer or two and on many occasions, slayers have been known to be killed within hours of being activated. So this list is somewhat incomplete and has several large gaps, with regards to time between slayers

THE SLAYERS!!!

How it all began, the very first Slayer. Since there have been vampire's, there have been Slayer's, the first Slayer was a raw, animalistic 'cave Slayer'.
Chained to the earth and empowered with the essence of the demon, this gave her the supper strength to fight the vampire's and demons of the time.
It is unclear when this happened, how long she survived and if there was any kind of watcher involved at the time. Although on that last comment, I doubt it very much.
