Glasgow "the dear green place" which is actually a bit strange, because its not really that dear although recently the city centre seems to have become overcrowded with trendy expensive pub. But who in there right mind would want to drink in one of them.
Anyways a few things of note on the second city of the empire. Or is that the second empire of the city( no wait all the old dance halls and cinema closed, so it must be the other way round). First there are lots of pubs, glaswegians love pubs and the oldest pub is supposedly the Scotia bar which is a great place and has seen the likes of Billy Connolley drinking in it on more than one occation.
