Having battled with weight for years now, (I've been thin, thick, long, round skinny, chubby, the works) the one great thing I came to realise that "too much is bad".

Too much salt hardens your arteries, but (in New Zealand at least) not enough can leave you short on Iodine, for example.
Too much in the greater sense is the problem, when we take things to an extreme, too much or too little, then we pay for it in some way. Be it our waiste line or our health, too much is the real problem.
So dont upsize your combo, tell them to take their Fifty cents extra and stick it, water or coke? you decide?

I agree.
All things in moderation is a great cliche for food especially: fundementally we should have a varied diet of small amounts.
