| When you first activate your page it will be in plain text Please be warned, If you want to put pictures or other fancy things on your page you will have to change to GuideML, The more things you put on in plain text, the more you will have to change later, and the harder it will be If you go to the A1020592 page it will tell you how to change to GuideML |
This page will show you how to put Smileys and links in a conversation and on your page in plain text, SMILEYSFirst the Smileys, If you click on Any smiley that you see in a posting or If you go to the Smiley Page you will see a list of the smileys that you can use, The headings are
If you look at the "LONG CODE" for the smiley that you want, and then put it like this,,, <love> Will Come Out As  OR <silly> Will Come Out As  You will notice that all the letters are in lower case, as capital letters do not work. Next, If you look at the "SHORT CODE", you will see that some of the smileys have something in there, you can type these short codes right on to your post and it will turn into a smiley, so ;) will turn into  AND B-) Will turn into  |
LINKSLinks are easy to do in plain text, If it is a "A" number, or a "U" number, or a "C" number, then you simply type it on the page and it will turn into a link LIKE,,,,, A1020592 ,,,,,, U193090 ,,,OR,,,C76 And you do the same with Forum links ( A Persons Messages List ) aswell,Like F88411 and a Conversation Thread, Like F84886?thread=234000&latest=1 Next are the Named Entries , If you go to the Named Entries page, you will see a list of pages that you can put as names instead of numbers. To do this you put the name of the entry like this <./>namedentries</.> and it will turn into a link Notice that they are NOT brackets, they are the < and the > sign.
