A horror film by George Romero that's not really horror and definitely not cheesy. It's more of a psychological study. It also is different in other ways: the black man is the hero, and there's the greatest twist ending (which I'm not telling!). An amazingly good, high-quality film!

I liked Night of the Living Dead, but of the trilogy, I liked Dawn of the Dead much better.
The whole shopping mall thing and the motorcycle gang were priceless!

Night of the Living Dead is excellent.
A couple of years ago me and my brother decided to watch it when the announcer said it was going to be on. We thought it sounded like an enjoyable, cheesy old horror movie. When it finished we both agreed it was 1) Excellent and 2) Scary. Brilliant stuff.
