That's awesome. I'm just curious - what's your background in Latin? How much education have you had in it?

Could you translate "Whatever is written in Latin looks perverse"? And could you tell me how close I am in this assumption? I based this on what I'm fairly certain is the Latin word for "sheath" ("vagina" or "vaginum", I'm not sure which). Also, what are some other anatomical features that are Latin words? (This may affect my decision on whether to learn Latin or not)

"Whatever is written in Latin looks perverse"
"Quidquid Latine scriptum est pravum esse videtur."
You are not close in this assumption. But there are some amusing things about Latin words, e.g.
anus = an old woman
anus = bum-hole (or ring)
They look the same written down, but the 'a' is long in the second one.
Or how about this:
testis = testicle
testis = witness
This time the words are identical in every way. Hours of fun!

...and let's not forget that those of us who are left-handed are "sinister".
and "margarita" is not so much a mixed drink or a hispanic woman but a pearl.
...and if you want to disturb your car... add a "turbo".

Thanks! I think I might get to learning Latin eventually, though I caught up in other things right now. I'm really quite glad I was wrong, too.
