Calling all Latin lovers

Can anyone help me?
Our local social club is trying to get a bit fancy, and wants either the phrase "think of the club" or "for the good of the club" translated into Latin as a motto - the closest I can find is "Cogito decuria" but I don't know if that's right

Also the devil in me wants to translate this as "think of the f****in club"(as this will be very funny if the stuffy old members dont realise what this means and dont bother checking it out!!)

can anyone help me??

Think of the club.

It depends what is meant by "think of". A very literal translation would be:

Cogita de sodalitate (or "de sodalicio", or "de consociatione", depending on how you want to translate club. ("Curia", by the way, means senate house. Perhaps someone thinks this is a good translation for "clubhouse". Maybe it is.)) You may also reverse the order according to taste: "De sodalitate cogita", etc.

On the other hand, if the meaning is "have regard for/respect/consider the club", you want:

"Respice sodalitatem" (or "Respice sodalicium" or "Respice consociationem") or: "Sodalitatem respice" etc.

For the good of the club is: "Pro bono sodalitatis", or "Pro bono sodalicii", or "Pro bono consociationis".

The Latin word for f*** is f****** ....ha ha. No seriously, it's futuere. But Latin is not English, and it would be nonsensical in Latin to say: "Respice sodalicium futuens", as it would seem to imply that the club is actually making the beast with two backs. I'll have to think about that one.

F*** is the greatest contribution that English has made to the world. It's the duct tape of curse words, it works on everything.

IMO stuprare is better than futuere, but in this case you need and adjective, not a verb. How about spurcus? or turpis?
