A Conversation for Handy Latin Phrases
Would someone translate this for me, please?

I'd like a fancy motto for out university's food technology association, and we all know that everything sounds more profound in Latin, so I was after some help..
I'd like to have "If you leave it out, it will spoil" as the motto, but my Latin skills are nonexistent. Someone suggested that it translates to "Si id exponis, corrumpetur", but they were not positive on the accuracy of this translation.
Could anyone here help me with this little matter?

This calls for the future perfect indicative in the 'if' clause, and not the present indicative. Hence:
Si id exposueris, corrumpetur.
