h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

There's a song from a few years ago that has a Latin song title and I wondered if there is someone who could translate it for me and explain why it's translated like that: Lacrima mosa est?

Lacrima = (the/a) tear (as in teardrop)
est = is
mosa = ?

Translation,

"Mosa is a tear", or "the tear is a mosa", or any rearrangement of those things

But mosa doesn't mean anything (to me). There was a river called the Mosa in Belgic Gaul, now the Meuse or Maas.

Oke, thanks for your help! I'm going to try and figure out what the explanation off the river Maas in the title is, I think I'll check some forums for that.
