Is incorrectly translated, to the best of my knowledge. Video, the verb that was made into the forum you used as the last word in the phrase, means 'see' no sounds... Perhaps audit would be more appropriate?
I hope I'm not being annoying

The verb used is "Viditur" which is passive. You are right that this comes from the verb "video, videre -to see" but in the passive it carries the meaning "to seem." So literally it would be "...seems profound" but "sounds" works because the previous verb is one of speaking.

That particular meaning always tripped me up when I was learning. I would see it and I would want it to mean "to be see" but it just never quite made sense. After a while I finally came to terms with video in the passive and realized it meant "to seem"
