Da mihi osculum, linguam latinum disco.
Kiss me, I speak Latin
I hope I got it right--it's been years since Gr.11 Latin. Our Latin program was cancelled part way through high school, so now I'll never know how the story turns out in the Cambridge Latin Series--the story of a family in Pompeii, [Caecilius and Metella] whose son escapes the volcano and moves to England [I have forgotten his name]. Did anyone else learn from this series? The main thing that I learned was "Ecce! Venalicius!" which is "Look, There is the slave dealer!" which is not terribly useful in every day conversation.
