February 2025 Create Challenge: What Does Love Look Like?

February is supposed to the month of love because of a third-century Roman bishop and martyr who may (or may not) have been buried on the Via Flaminia. We don't care: February's a cold month up here in the northern hemisphere, and we're tired of snow and waiting for the Groundhog to bring us good news. So let's talk about love.

What, to you, is love? Is it an emotion? A commitment? Is it about romance or caring? Self-sacrifice or self-validation? Does it embrace the world, or only those close to you? What would you be willing to do for love?

Tell us stories that define love. Write an entry about love in action in history or the world around us. Make a poem. Take a picture. Write a song. Cheer us up or make us think.

The world could use a little love right now.
