I did, and it baffles me. We used to format poems like that in the Post. Along came the new skin and it didn't work any more, so we had to centre every single line. But then that was a while ago, and the last poem published I could find as an example was from two years ago, so maybe Pastey has made changes and now it works again like it should?

I tried that and got line breaks - so an advance on the previous result. But the centering didn't work!

So no progress there. Did you try centering each line?

Seems to work for the lower bit. The upper part isn't centred in Pliny because of the image.
