Stop.

Get up from your computer. Walk to a window. Open the shades. Slowly, slowly. See the big light in the sky? That's the sun. Those green things over there? They're trees. And the puffywhite things in the sky? Clouds.

Now get out there. Run, dance, laugh, cry, sing. If you can't do any of those things, find a spot in a park and enjoy watching people who can. Find a sunny spot to sit and think. Go pick apples, or walk on the beach, or run down a hill. Have a favorite tree, and read books under it in the summer, build a snowman under it in the winter. Chase fireflies. Look for rainbows. Believe in magic.

Find someone, something -- friend, lover, mother, brother, dog, cat,
mountainside -- that lets you just be you, and never let go.
Try something you've always wanted to do. Remember a favorite activity from
childhood, and do it again. Fly a kite. Eat raw cookie dough. Fingerpaint.

Let your computer be your connection to the world, not a way to hide from it.
Life's for us to enjoy, woman man, girl and boy. Feel the pain, feel the joy. It's all simply little bits of history repeating....
