Freebie Film Tip #19: Steampunk Rules

Stanislaw Lem, who like his science fiction cerebral, admired Jules Verne. I don't think this series was what he had in mind, but The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne is a fun ride in a steampunk balloon, courtesy of our Canadian friends.

Michael Praed once went from 'Robin of Sherwood' to a Broadway swashbuckling Musketeer disaster, where he worked with a pre-Data Brent Spiner. Here, he plays the great French scifi author. It has a lot of atmosphere.

If nothing else, the balloon is fun to watch.
