Reading that has made me crave a Greek salad for lunch, but I'm on a health kick, so can you tell me how the fat content compares with that of an ordinary cows' milk cheese like, i don't know, cheddar?

Ewe's milykhas around half the fat of cow's milk (have you ever seen a fat sheep?), Feta has about 2/3 the fat of cheddar.

I have a Greek son-in-law-- wonderful bloke -- and another son -in-law , from a long line of Oz inhabitants ( equally pleasant fellow) who has worked for a long time in Bulgaria. ( In Bulgaria says he , it's cheese with everything ).
Each of them , whether it be with Greek Feta or Bulgarian Feta , makes a tremendous salad .
I tag along humbly with Australian Feta , but then my taste buds are aging , so I cannot declaim upon its worth .
No matter -- I like them all .
