I just wanted to set the record straight about Buck Weaver, the 3rd Baseman. He was a lifetime .272 hitter is his nine year career, and ended up at .324 for the series while fielding without an error in 8 games. He spent the remainder of his life trying to clear his name unsuccessfully. Maybe he knew about the fix, but he didn't play like he was in on it.
