Solar Eclipse
Created | Updated Apr 14, 2002
It is rumoured that 75% of the population of the United Kingdom have booked into the Malt Shovel in Exeter. Supplies of Kellogs cornflakes and dried milk are at present being stockpiled in the Devon County Council roads department shed next to Texas Homecare.
Please heed this warning and stay away in droves.
I have it on very good authority that the best place to observe the eclipse is outside Radio Rentals in Peterhead Aberdeenshire, Scotland. In fact the Sun has not shone there in years. Dust. Layers of it.
Devon is estimated to sink at the rate of seven mm per hour with such a concentration of seethin flesh. Whereas Radio Rentals in Peterhead will rise (because of the dimentional cantilever effect) over seven hundred metres, making the total eclipse that much nearer.
