Outpost QIT

0 Conversations

During the course of my never ending search for 'interstellar, cosmic financial reward', I currently find myself in a monthly orbit around a hitherto unexplored hot spot in the Africa-nastius asteroid belt called Nigerius Alpha.

Located on the southern side of this 'hot rock' is a little known mining outpost, owned by the fossil fuel giant 'MOBIL', called 'Qua Iboe Terminal' ( henceforth referred to as QIT ).

The terminal itself is, as one would expect, heavily guarded and fortified against ingress by the indigenous life forms, although access can be easily 'bought' for a handful of promises or hard cash.
As with most exploration, no self respecting visitor would be worth his salt without sampling the local delicacies such as 'roast dog' and 'dried fish on a stick'(an opportunity not to be spurned) washed down with a bottle of the aptly named 'Star' a local beer, the taste of which will only be found in outer space.

Should any intrepid 'Hiker' wish to know more of this place, don't contemplate a visit without first talking to me or at least filling your arm with every preventative drug known to man.
Happy Hiking,

TerryQIT

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
