Computer Help for the Totally Lame

Not that I am going to be much help myself but I thought it might be a good idea to have a central place for people to post their computer problems and hopefully get some useful information back from the mass of knowledge encased in the brains of the researchers of H2G2. If someone would like to contribute some serious, and maybe some not so serious, descriptions of the major, and not so major, Operating Systems out there I will setup forums for each one here and try to integrate the descriptions into this page. I do not want these forums to become a bash-fest against this OS or that but rather a place to go for help.
I may not be able to answer many questions but I love to learn about everything.
