I used to have two mates who really liked each other, but were just too shy to do anything about it. So anyway, I decided to play cupid (how come I can do that for everyone else and not myself! ) and I organised a movie evening where a group of us (including these two) would all go out. Everything was working fine and well, until dear old Ross forgot to show up... So here Lori was upset about it, coz he had promised her he'd be there... Anyway, cupid that I am, I got on the phone to him, and there he was, sitting at home, having completely forgotten. He jumped in his car and raced over (just making it in time for the movie), but Lori was so unimpressed! Two days later, when we were all going to the beach, Ross came up to me with this huge bunch of beautiful roses…He’d bought them for Lori in an attempt to make up for the last time, but!!! Lori is the stubborn type who doesn’t like being messed around with! She accepted the roses anyway, said they were lovely, blah, blah, blah…etc. He now thought he was back in the running, but little did he know… A week later, when I saw her, she had some other bloke hanging on her arm. I asked her about Ross, and she said that no, he’d lost out. I reminded her that he had bought her flowers to make up for that, and her response…
“They died.”


There was a point to why I was telling you that story, but I can’t remember it now after typing that whole long thing out!

I never understood my friends when they were mad about a guy one day, then a couple of days later it was some other bloke. I really don't get it.

It's only happened to me a couple of times that a friend's tried to set me up with someone. Both blokes were creeps. I remember the first time she tried to do it, she told me "but he *really* likes you". Though it was interesting that he needed her to tell me.

But where i come from in Brum its a way of life, switching from guy to guy...

I have this idiot called Grant on my tail. He phones me all the time and I gave him a bit of advice: "lose my number and lose it quick", but it didn't work...
He gives me a pain where I shouldn't get one!
And then there's Erica. She also thinks she's the one for me. I reckon all she is after is a gossip fix so she can go tell her friends whats happening in my life.
I do NOT appreciate that.
