I asked in exasperation..

"don't you know ANY survival skills"?

he said "sure I do"...

"well, what then"? I said, hands on hips...

"I know a head shot kills a zombie" he states.

ahhhh.....

And now you know exactly why I don't cross that lake too often, to the NY-state side. All them zombies about, with young manly men popping heads with clean shots. It gets old after a while.

Its actually best, I find, to aim for the neck, just at the base of the skull, takes out the medulla, which is where most of the basil brain function in Zombies is to be found... I've researched this expansively

Well, ya know, it pays to 'be prepared' as the motto goes... I mean, lodger and I, we've carefully worked out all the lines of sight/fire from my house so we know where and when we can take out any invading maruding zombie force or alien invaders, or vampires.... and like all good well prepared householders, we'[ve a 'zombie kit', 'vampire kit', 'warewolf' kit, all neatly stored away for when we need them...
