Every year I try to plant more butterfly-friendly plants. Last year I planted milkweed, but over the Winter they got pulled out by the roots. I can't prove that squirrels did it, but I might as well blame them...

Last week i planted some shade-loving milkweed in a shady spot. Sure enough, the next day I found the roots lying on top of the ground. I replanted them.....
