A Most Bizarre Anomaly

I was lurking around and came across a page where someone had listed all the u numbers 1-500 and about 10000=10500 and I noticed on the right hand side that the non-activated researchers came up as blank spaces and there was that odd number for u262, it didn't strike me as anything really special until I noticed the standard intro with the odd number in it too, so when you combine it with the fact that the intro hadn't been activated it seemed a little strange!

I have just realised that this isn't all that strange as updating a uname will update the intro to match however it is strange that it's a pre 1000 u number hmmmm!

Indeed it is slightly odd behaviour. Perhaps they both belong to the same, now departed, researcher.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
