My friend Justine called me today to say those two magical words: "shoe sale". My favourite shoe store (let's call it Bob's (because that's its name)) is having a big sale. I dropped everything immediately (of course!) and headed down to my idea of heaven. I know it's cliche, but I couldn't help myself. Ended up buying a very nice pair of Italian sandals at half price. And I'm pretty pleased with myself too (can you tell?)
