Mister Matty

It's been more than two years since it was on in the cinema, I think. Films come to television much more quickly these days largely, I think, because the explosion of DVD and the success of pay-per-view film viewing on digital networks such as Sky has deflated the importance of a terrestrial TV "premiere" and so the film must transfer to TV quickly in order to keep any remaining impact that remains after it has been released to DVD and broadcast on pay-per-view.
