It's That Time of Year Again!!!

Well, once again a year has flown
and all that I can do is groan.
It amazes me how time does fly,
and now, oh dear, the time is nigh.
So what to write to friends so dear,
to wish them well for another year.

I send my love at Christmas time,
and offer you this little rhyme.
I wish you everything that’s good
But – of course, that’s understood.

Have fun, enjoy and just relax,
Go easy on those Christmas snacks.
Take care, stay well, be good,you hear
Stay off the vodka, wine and beer.
But if the “loved ones” make a fuss
Come over here – get drunk with us!!

I started doing the Chrissie poem thing years ago for the Christmas Cards and unfortunately it's now got to the stage where everyone expects it

This one has actually been on my page since mid December

that's not as bad as most other places!! They usually start mid-November!!

I swear that this year I saw a Santa on Botany Road mid October!!!

Maybe he was just trying to get his character right!
