Poem from the heart

Her heart breaks, right before his eyes,
But he is blind. He cant see her cry.
Her body lays lifeless, down on the floor
As he takes her heart when he walks out the door.
Where does he take it? where does he go?
Why doesn't he cherish it? doesn't he know?
A heart is fragile & vunrable too.
Why doesn't he protect it like he once promised to?
As her heart lies wounded & bruised,
she'll go on loving him & feeling used.
If he ever knew how he made her feel
would he try to make things better or pretend it ain't real?
Will she ever be loved by the one she holds so dear?
Or will she open her eyes & realise she can wipe away the tears?
