h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello Folks,

I'm known as Bob Cratchett's Wife on here, but the truth be known, I'm really Wulfrics wife. Wulfric is known a Bob Cratchett sometimes in the marital home!! I thought I'd log on in here and find out what he's been up to. Yes I'm the one who arrived on his door stop with "a strange mixture of paranormal/spiritual books and romantic girly-type literature" Well it's not that "girly" really. Wulfric & I got married last month so we're still in the glow of wedded bliss! And by the way, he is the one that always ends up buying the unnecessary expensive items in the supermarket not me! I say, "Get the small trolley, because if we get a big one we'll only fill it up!" But does he listen - No! He says, I got the big one because it was nearer! Well you can say it till you're blue in the face, but it doesn't always get through!!!

I take pleasure from many little occupations. I love tinkering about in the kitchen!! My strawberry smoothies are to die for - not to mention my Shepherds Pie, so my husband tells me. I like spoiling him a little bit, but in the heat of a hot summer the desire to spend a few hours in the kitchen wanes a little. I also enjoy a bit of writing now and again, though I'm sorely out of practice. I enjoy writing poetry and childrens fiction particularly. Maybe one day I'll sit down and write that one publishable book. Funny how that word doesn't look right but I can't quite think what it should be.
As "Barny Owl" for a group of Brownie Guides I quite appreciate being given the run around by 30 7-10 year olds. They came to our wedding with all their flags and uniforms and we had a Brownie Guard Of Honour - It was very cute!!

It little ode which I think is quite appropriate for me:

MY BUM

My bum is so large,
a little like a barge,
aeroplanes navigate around,
my arse so very large and round,
and though it is, to know you'd like,
it's not a place to park your bike!!
