I'm starting a new job tomorrow, and I didn't even have to have an interview!
It's a temporary position, but it's for at least 3 months, so I can save up in case I don't get placed straight away afterwards!

That must be a weight off your mind : I'm still looking, doing an application at the mo 
will only be the second I've sent off, but here's counting 
reminds me, I've not got round ot having a look on the jobs.ac.uk yet today 
Good luck with the new job; it might be tempory; but they might have something afterwards maybe?

You're safe for 3 months which is pretty cool, and gives you time to look for other stuff. Mind you, I've been temping for for nearly 2 years

Sorry everyone.
Things have been a bit hectic round here lately.
Jeff has moved out, saying he doesn't know if he wants to be married any more.
This all happened at the same time as I got my job, although I reckon he was planning it for a while, not coming to the last meet and everything.
I'm a bit mixed up about it all, and I've not spent too much time at home lately since I get a bit miserable sitting here on my own.
I'm doing ok, I'm lucky enough to have lots of friends here looking after me and keeping me sane(ish!).
I know I've been neglecting you lot, and I'm really really sorry.
I'll try and make an effort to keep in touch a bit better in future.
