Nope. I went to the bar, asked for the drink, and then discovered what I though was a fiver was in fact a cheque. Fine, I thought, I'll pay with the card. £10 limit. Fine, I'll double my order. Trouble is, what I was drinking turned out to be buy one get one free. I was not going to drink four bottles of alcopop. It was easier all round for the barman just to let me have the drinks as I had no other way of paying. But I think he'll be in trouble if his employer finds out. So my idea of paying them back this morning never came to fruition. Hey ho.

Payed for most of the rest of them though.

That is true. A pint and a bottle came to over a fiver. *shakes head* but hey. It was a good night.

Bellringers. Actually, it turned out to be just the one, in the end. The others went for a balti instead. Said something about 'saving for wednesday' or something. (Wednesday is the usual practice night, when they go out).

I didn't get up to much last night, except some laundry 'cause the snake crapped all over my bed.

Hehe... I can see that snake being... um... interesting! I don't know whether I'm ringing tomorrow, depends on what Big Band are doing. I might be going out with them anyway though, regardless of whether I ring or not! I still have to kiss Jo yet. Well, it's getting her back for all the times she's scared other people!

Yes, and it nibbled me on the tongue 'cause I tried to kiss it too hard!

Humm .. been a bit down today. It's been exactly a year since Jan 15th 2002, which was the date my mental state took a turn for the worse due to that person I hate, and that other person I hate. And that fact has dredged up all sorts of shitty memories, and put me in a state of gloom.

That makes two of us. Mine for purely compositional reasons, but the signs of depression are as familiar as ever. I don't know how to help you; but hold my hand and scream if it's of any help.

It only lasted a little while, under normal circumstances I'm barely bothered about it (a lot of that thanks to you, btw!) but just that particular date triggered stuff.

Hey did you get anywhere near six minutes?

Nope. But the new (third, now) composition I did last night isn't bad. It hits about two and a half minutes. What's annoying is that I probably could have done more had I started with that composition and not wasted all that time on the crappy ones. What's also annoying was that I didn't have to get up at 5:30 to finish it either. But hey, it gives me some h2g2 time!

Yeah. I did kind of do a bit of a funk section, but i didn't have enough time to develop it at all. Which is really disappointing, coz I think I could have made something of it. But hey. I don't care- I think I've got something that's good enough to pass. And it's not like I'm going to consider composition for next year anyway!
