Guess who's off to hospital?
Just in from the after having the most awful stomach cramps over the last 3 days. He reckons i've got appendicitus (probably turn out to be wind knowing my past performance)
If there's not an amusing story to come out of all this i'll eat my hat.(Perhaps that's what caused it in the first place, that flying helmet and goggles was a bit chewy i thought)
More news later.....

Just got back, nothing to eat or drink for 9 hours, and looking like a pin cushion I've been prodded in some very unusual places today, and the considered opinion is........they don't know.
It's most likely NOT appendicitis, but there's something odd going on. At home now pending more tests, and with a fair supply of tablets. No work, but no alcohol....that's ironic isn't it?
Feeling quite a bit better now though.
Thanks for all the concern gang.

That's got to be a nightmare. Lack of sleep is the worst, makes anything feel worse. I just had one night of no sleep and it sent me scuttling off to the , you've had it for ages.
Just nipping off for tea now mate, be on later

'strolls in wearing a gas mask'
Hey Air, i always said you were full of hot air!!
Glad your feeling better m'dear

You can whip off the gas mask now Venus (although it is rather a fetching pink one) No warnings as yet on the shipping forecast of localised gales in the Oxfordshire area
Lolling about in me dressing gown today and rattling with tablets, but the tummy seems to have calmed down.
Just as well too, as i'm doing a charity underground ride on Tuesday. Me and two mates from work will be attempting to visit all 274 staions on the London underground in a day, raising funds for a local playgroup.
I was supposed to be going with them last year, but had a slipped disc. missing it again with appendicitis would have been unfortunate to say the least!!!

And i broke a toe playing hide and seek with the kids last year. So it was more like 'Accident on LEG' actually.

It's been a lot better since they had that padded bedroom built for me. The one with the foam rubber furniture, and crayons for doing my letters to the hospital.
I think everyone's a little accident prone, it's just that i've got a few peoples allocation.
