I'm having quite a time figuring out which picture of Sugar Bush Squirrel is the best. The soldier scolding John Kerry? The one on Mount Rushmore? Baby Squuri( Sorry, Suri) Cruise? What a hilarious site. smiley - laugh

I don't know what's sadder ... the fact that Sugar Bush Squirrel's person has way too much time on his/her hands, or the fact that the poor squirrel is being tortured by squeezing into those tiny clothes. smiley - winkeye

That's a cute, cute squirrel. Probably puzzled by the weird costumes, but trusting enough to let the woman dress her and take pictures. Doesn't look like a product of abuse, though you never can tell. smiley - erm

The squirrel doesn't look unhappy or stressed in the least ... and yes, it's as cute as can be.

I don't see as many squirrels as I used to. My living room window used to look out on a large lawn and some good-sized trees. Squirrels were chasing each other u and down the trees all the time, and I would watch them. Now I'm in a new location, the old trees have been cut down, and all I see form my window is the trailer next door. No trees have grown up around my trailer. So, no reason for squirrels to be around smiley - sadface.

Oh I hate not being able to watch the squirrels play. smiley - sadface

Lately, I've been stealing away to President McKinley's tomb for lunch... atop a high hill, overlooking Canton, with plenty of woods and parklands behind it. I was admiring a pair of fat squirrels playing there yesterday. One had the more common tan with a golden-tawny underbelly, and one was true gray with white trim. I'd never noticed the difference before! (There are also black squirrels in the area) Then a big black crow came along tossing tree bark at my car!

I love it up there. smiley - smiley I hope you can find a place to retreat to also, Paul. smiley - hug
