They seem to be popular on another forum I visit. Also, Richard Herring uses his to kickstart his writing every day at http://www.richardherring.com/warmingup/warmingup.php - so it seemed like a good idea for me. Goodness knows my writing could do with being gooder (more good).

I'd start a blog if I thought I'd ever get round to putting anything anyone would actually want to read into it.
I find it hard enough to think of things to put into my Journal, for God's sake. Some of my journal entries are awful.
