I just finished reading Dante's Inferno...what an amazing author! His symbolism, his attention to detail, his...well, creativity ...it astounded me! Have any of you read Purgatorio or Paradiso?? If you have, do you recommend it?

Yeah, in fact I read the Inferno and the purgatory, liked them a lot, started the paradiso and got quite bored. The 'darker' regions are allways more interesting... anyway, to be honest, I didn't understand half of the mythological and historic references.
Read it some years ago, so I don't remember everyting exactly. (And Ol'Snaed didn't read it anyway)
If you liked that, you probably would like Mitons 'Paradise Lost'. Did you ever read it?

You know, i think i checked out a copy a couple years ago, but got distracted and didn't get around to it. Maybe there's one lying around here somewhere...
