h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Currently I am experiencing computer problems at work. I am in need of an exorcist. If you know of a reliable one leave me a note. Three times in the last two days I have whacked my kneecap on the corner of my desk. Consequently, it has become nearly impossible to kneel on any hard surface. I must remember to stop injuring myself. Speaking of my short-term memory, while at dinner the other evening I left my car window open during a rainstorm. I've been driving around with my seat swathed in towels ever since. This morning a co-worker brought me a piece of Boca Negra. This is a chocolate cake soaked in brandy. I do believe I had a contact high. Quite pleasant while at work, really.

In closing, by the end of this summer I want to finish both "Middlemarch" and the Harry Potter series. I would like to know what all the fuss is about.

I have all 4 of the Harry Potter books...

Does this mean you'll let me borrow them? Cause I think if I rely on the public library alone I wont be able to read them in chronological order by the end of the summer. I probably wouldn't get the first book in my hands until Halloween. After all, I'm 16th in line for James Lee Burke's newest.

How many would you like me to bring tonight? It takes maybe two days each for the first three, and Goblet of Fire is a bit longer...maybe three or four. Let me know...I will just bring them with me.

Well, that brings me to another salient point in this conversation. I won't be down tonight. Molly gave birth this morning. Jen and I will be at Community visiting her and snooping around for baby-related items. I bought some really cute stuff at Repose today: a washcloth in the shape of a googly-eyed cow and some Baby Bee buttermilk bath soap.
