Easter day evening. Richard won't be home for another four days, and I'm watching The Devil Wears Prada.

If its anything like it is here, even the street outside is deadly quiet 
today seems to have dragged on.... despite my not getting up until it had gone midday

Been a nicely quiet Easter Sunday here - I'm training for a half-marathon in June, so I did a 10k run before breakfast. I usually take my dog Max with me on runs, but he cut his paw badly last week, so is still wearing the cone of shame, and not allowed out except for pees'n'poos. So I ran solo. 
Made a rather fab brunch from Jamie's 15 minute meals - chilli/cheese pancakes with maple bacon and salsa. 
Took a run into town - it's Belfast's 400th anniversary this year, so there's various exhibitions on in the City Hall. And then went to Titanic Belfast, which is one year old today, so we were there in time for the short speech and birthday cake, and a free foam hand with pointy finger. 
Came home, took little dog out for a walk, watched some old Dr Who, made stuffed chicken and fennel seed roast veg for dinner, ate the ears off my chocolate bunny, researched options for visiting the Grand Canyon on our trip to Vegas in August, and was rather impressed to receive a reply to my email in 30 minutes!
