Milla, h2g2 Operations

I feel pitiful. For more a couple of weeks I've had minor aches and pains. Nothing really serious, but annoying nevertheless.

A few weeks ago: Sinus pains. Nasal decongestant to relieve, but doctor wouldn't even look at me. Got better after a while, but only after a week of yukky breath and stuff.

Then the forest adventure, left me with a horrible muscle ache - which passed, but also a cold sore, that's till going, more than a week after.

And this weekend, headaches, and migraines. And I don't even have whopping migraines! I just get all apathetic and weepy for a few days, and then I have a single spot of pain in one of the eyebrows. But since it doesn't shift with ordinary painkillers, only my migraine spray, I suppose that's what it is.

Second migraine spray this morning, and went back to bed once the kids were in school, and slept till noon.
Still feeling slow and dull. And not at all inclined to excercise, eat healthy and be active. I just want to pull the covers over my head and hibernate.

So. Compared to the rest of the world, I have nothing to complain about. And still I feel washed out.

I feel much the same sometimes, and I know I don't have it that badly. It doesn't mean you don't feel awful though, and if you can, take advantage of a day recuperating! smiley - hug

I bought a new jar today! I have not taken them for a while, and it definitely is time to do it.
(And also a new sixpack of migrain medicine, all this at a bargain price of 690 sek)

Migraines are horrible things, I used to get full blown ones two or three times a month and a wet rag under the duvet where the Queen visiting wouldn't have got me out of bed, is so familiar. Over the years I found giving in was the quickest way to get rid of it, so don't feel bad about a duvet day.

You sound run down, and this time of year is horrible so the Vitamin D sounds a good idea, i might even try it myself as I suffer SAD throughout the winter.

Hope you are feeling better soon,

Titania (gone for lunch)

Milla, I find the episodes of this season's 'Så mycket bättre' very inspiring emotionwise.

This one is available online (for Swedish viewers, sorry) for 4 more days:

Is it possible that Vitamin D makes such a difference? I have taken double dose (=125% of daily recommended dose I think) for less than a week, and I feel so much better already. Sleep is better, and I am more awake during the day. Let's hope this continues

Today has been ...different... so far.
A friend from a choir from more than 20 years back is now terminally ill in returned liver cancer. I visited her in hospital today. Perhaps I was inappropriately cheerful at times, but the mood in the room wasn't that bad. Her sons and their wives (all friends of mine too, my age) were there too, and our old choir leader too. She is calm, seems to accept her fate at the moment, and has good pain relief. But tired now, and a bit sleepy from the morphine I suppose. Very jaundiced, since the liver has given up. But all in all, not as sad as I feared. I hope I can go back again not too long from now.
